There are many ways to get involved with Champions of Caring. If you want to join us in creating Cultures of Caring, you can:
- Join our Friends and Family Committee to help us with fundraising, events and public relations
- Make connections with local schools and districts who you think would be interested in our Journey of a Champion character education and service learning curriculum. We currently offer high school, middle school and after school club curricula
- Serve as a mentor in our Ambassadors of Caring program, which meets one Sunday a month at Drexel University from 1-4pm
- Facilitate workshops for our students on leadership skills such as public speaking, fundraising, budgeting, grant writing, advocacy or another relevant area of expertise
- Make introductions to local and national politicians, corporations, universities, media representatives, foundations and grantmakers, and individuals that can help us to forward our cause and create Cultures of Caring
- Share your filmmaking or writing and publishing skills to help us to create a film and book highlighting the work of our Champions
- Assist us with our website and printing of materials
- Provide internships or scholarships for our Champions to recognize their service
